As shop steward of the LMUSG (Low and Mean Union of Short Guys who actually like being down here), I thought I’d open a monthly short guy of the month blog. I’m gonna start with Muggsy- WHAT A GUY.

Tyrone Curtis “Muggsy” Bogues (born January 9, 1965, Baltimore, Maryland) is a retired American professional basketball player and former head coach of the now-defunct Charlotte Sting of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). The shortest player ever to play in the NBA, the 5 ft 3 in Bogues played point guard for four teams during his 14-season career in the National Basketball Association. Best known for his involvement with the Charlotte Hornets, he also played for the Washington Bullets, Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.
